Background
Raised in an American community in Saudi Arabia, Adeeb Jaber, M.D., is fluent in both Arabic and English. After earning a high school diploma at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey in 1987, Dr. Jaber studied chemistry at Georgetown University. He earned his medical degree there in 1995. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 1998.
After practicing traditional medicine for five years, Dr. Jaber decided to commit to practicing as a hospitalist. He served as lead hospitalist at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, Maryland, for five years before joining the hospitalist program at Anne Arundel Medical Center. After six years there, Dr. Jaber joined the hopsitalist team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
