Fellowships
Dear Resident:
Thank you for your interest in subspecialty fellowship training in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins. In the tradition of Kelly, Williams, TeLinde, and Jones, Johns Hopkins strives to impart in our fellows the tools necessary to succeed in all three areas of our tripartite mission: clinical care, research, and education.
Our department is privileged to have among its faculty nationally recognized leaders in all of the disciplines in the field. We are fortunate to have the resources to invest in cutting edge programs and facilities. Our post-graduate education program is aimed at assuring that our fellows are prepared to provide consultative care to general obstetrician gynecologists and be successful in pursuit of academic careers. We will prepare you for today and give you the skills to meet the challenges of the future world of rapidly changing medicine.
We anticipate that our fellows will go on to be the leaders of obstetrics, gynecology and women's and reproductive health in the new millennium. The Hopkins faculty intends to open the door of opportunity for those who demonstrate their commitment to excellence and scholarly productivity. We are delighted that you have expressed interest in our program and we sincerely look forward to meeting some of you as you pursue your quest for the right post-graduate program.
I hope to have the pleasure of meeting with you and introducing you to the details of our post-graduate experience. Again, congratulations on a great choice of specialties.
Yours Sincerely,
Andrew J. Satin MD
