Overview

During the past few years, simulation has been advanced as a technique to improve obstetric and gynecologic training. Effective simulation based education programs have provided us the opportunity to give feedback, allowing for repetitive practice.

Simulation offers special opportunities to improve patient outcomes in rarely encountered circumstances, thus individual performance and team collaboration can be enhanced and system based hurdles can be resolved before it affects the patient.

Our providers, consistently involved in training sessions and with our state-of-the-art simulation lab, are able to continually educate and practice proper techniques and enhance team performance.
