Sabanera Health Dorado: Setting the Standard of Care in Puerto Rico and Beyond
Sabanera Health Dorado is a greenfield hospital and outpatient health center west of San Juan that opened in March 2022. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostics, critical care, surgical services, and emergency and multispecialty care. Our consulting and education collaboration agreement with Sabanera Health Dorado enables us to work together to achieve their goal of becoming the premier health care provider in Puerto Rico and the surrounding region.
How We Work Together
- Consult on hospital operations and service excellence to provide a premier patient experience.
- Work together to develop clinical programs that deliver the highest quality care.

Support Joint Commission certification preparation efforts.
- Complete targeted educational and knowledge transfer activities between Johns Hopkins Medicine experts and Sabanera Health Dorado physicians and staff members, and collaborate to identify future training and education opportunities.
