Wilmina Landford Named a Leading Woman by the Daily Record

Wilmina Landford, M.D., a resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, is among the Maryland Daily Record's Leading Women for 2021. The honor recognizes women age 40 or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. Winners were selected based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change. Landford is the founder of several organizations, including Women of Color in Plastic Surgery and Birthright Liberia. She is a mentor to students and fellow residents through the Plastic Surgery Research Program and the PROPEL Mentorship Program in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and to other women through the Life by Tosin Women of Color Mentorship Program.
